Hi, I’m Paula.
I’m the one behind the camera, a wedding photographer based in Trillick, Co. Tyrone. I’m originally from Madden, Co. Armagh, but my love of photography really took hold when I moved to New York in the 1990s. Living and working in that city, I made friends for life, soaked up everything it had to offer, and learned my craft from some brilliant people along the way.
These days I’m home in Tyrone and a proud member of the Professional Photographers of Northern Ireland (PPANI).
When I’m not photographing weddings, you’ll find me pitch side, cheering on the sidelines, or at the coast. A day off means a long walk on our gorgeous golden beaches with my two cockapoos, Ozzy and Tasha, who are happiest with sand on their paws and the wind in their ears. I’m a proud mum of three, Charlie, Orlagh and Shea, and family is the heart of everything I do.
The rest of my time is simple. Give me good friends, a creamy pint of Guinness and a good laugh, whether that’s by the pub fire in winter or in a sunny beer garden in summer. Add a big Irish game on the telly and I’m a very happy woman.
I think that’s why I love weddings so much. They’re all about good people, good company and a great atmosphere, and I’m right at home in it.

Wedding Photography Style
My number one job is making sure you feel at ease in front of the camera. When you’re relaxed, your real personality comes out, and that’s what ends up in your photos. So expect plenty of chat, a good bit of craic and a few belly laughs.
While the majority of my work is telling the story you share with your loved ones, I will also cover formal groups quickly and efficiently at various stages throughout the day, with no faffing about, so you’re not stuck standing around when you could be enjoying yourselves. Leave the camera to me, we’ll have a good laugh along the way, and you’ll end up with a collection of photographs you’ll treasure for life.
